Get To Know More About Our Peel & Stick Tiles!
When designing our premium peel & stick tiles we ensured that they had a water resistant surface. This acts as a shield protecting the design layer & the flooring underneath from any moisture. Water can not seep through the actual tile itself but if they are not applied as close together as possible & if the tiles adjoining the walls are not sealed properly water will be able to get underneath & through the joins creating an optimal environment for trapped moisture. We advise to mop up any puddles sat on top of the tiles over long period of time to protect the tiles longer! You can use any silicone caulk to seal any tiles which may be in contact with water.
When using our premium peel & stick tiles in rooms with moisture or when cleaning try to avoid heavy amounts of water sitting on the tiles as with this there is more chance of water seeping through the edges. If any of your peel & stick tiles become flooded with mass amounts of water they could seperate & gaps may appear. If this happens we advise to remove the affected tiles, let them dry, dry the surface below & use some of our adhesive strips which can be purchased on our website & then re apply the peel & stick tile.
Lets break each layer down....
We use a hard wearing, water resistant, anti scratch laminate on our premium peel & stick tiles with the anti slip rating being R10 meaning this will provide minor to moderate resistance to slipping, making it ideal for use in hallways, kitchens, and other living spaces including bathrooms. The laminate has an excellent resistance to humidity & it has a fire rating of B1 meaning it is hardly flammable.
The main tiles material in the middle of the laminate & adhesive layer is a 2mm thick, cushioned, lino like material. This provides a warmer surface rather than tiles. It is flexible which helps when applying them and makes removing them much easier.
We have added a high quality peel/perm adhesive to our tiles. This means the adhesive is strong enough to keep your peel & stick tiles stuck down but also they can be removed damage free from most areas.
Please keep in mind when using our products around food etc where spillage may occur that our products are not ceramic and will stain around some types of acidic foods, sauces etc. To avoid this please clean up any spillage as soon as it happens.
Our premium peel & stick tiles can even be re used in most cases! If you would like to reuse them, remove them carefully & slower than normal so that the tile remains flat & most of the adhesive stays on the tile. Simply apply some of our adhesive strips and re apply your tiles!
Each tile measures 30 width x 30 length cm. The depth of each tile is around 2 mm. The peel & stick tiles material is cushioned with a hard wearing laminate on top & an adhesive layer underneath.

Our new premium peel & stick tiles are very different to our vinyl rolls! Here are a few important differences.
-Thickness, vinyl rolls are only around 0.5mm thick & our peel & stick tiles are around 2mm thick.
-Sizing, vinyl rolls come in large sheets to be applied to your area where as our tiles are 30 x 30 cm each making the application process super easy.
-Reusable, our vinyl rolls are not reusable once removed. Our vinyl tiles can have adhesive re applied & be reused in another area.
Our peel & stick tiles and vinyl are printed in different locations & different machines so colours may vary across vinyl & tiles.
You can read more below within our 'pros of peel & stick tiles' tab!
Removing your peel & stick tiles is super easy & mess free!
Simply use a squeegee or a similar thin tool to get underneath the first tiles corner & once you can get a grip of it begin peeling it off your surface. In some cases the glue layer may stay stuck to the area where it has bonded, simply use your tool to pick up a corner of the glue and peel it off with the tile. (if you are hoping to re use the tiles make sure the glue layer stays stuck to the tile) If any adhesive is left on your surface simply use warm soapy water & a wet cloth to clean the area, the adhesive will come off easily with no need for heavy scrubbing.
Please keep in mind when removing the peel & stick tiles from areas like untreated wood, varnished or painted areas the tiles adhesive may remove the areas finish upon removal.
- Ceramic flat tiles (with bevelled or uneven tiles the peel & stick tiles may struggle to stay adhered, test a sample)
- Wood flooring (some wood surfaces may need a layer of primer first)
- Most painted surfaces (please test & ensure a sample sticks well prior. Some paint types will repel the tiles adhesive)
- Concrete & untreated wood (with these surfaces you will need to add a layer of primer so that the adhesive bonds & stays stuck)
- Lino Flooring
- If you are unsure about your area please get in touch & we will advise.
- Please ensure samples are tested on your chosen area first to ensure the tile & surface bond together.
- Please keep in mind when using in areas where food spillage is frequent that there is the chance some acidic food/sauces may stain. To help avoid this ensure it is cleaned up as soon as.
